A set of great little limestone blocks set on a spur just up the valley from Kilnsey. Quick drying and offering a selection of steady problems with a few tougher ones.

Old lines, new routes and problems have been developed in these quarries. This is a fine effort as some good lines exist that had fallen into a neglected state. There are two new files that describe all of the development. There’s a lot to have a go at! Wharfedale pages.

Three good looking problems 7c, 7b and 7a have been added to the Mushroom Block by Will Buck. Full details are not known but he says the mantle finishes are challenging…
