Brazen and urban, Baildon Bank’s charms are often overlooked by the dedicated boulderer. Those in the know will point to several stand-out classics, the quarry’s sunny aspect and several areas of quality rock. Ok so there’s litter, brambles, occasional feral kids and some sandy rock too – but there also much to appreciate. Thanks go to Dan Johnson for this great and definitive guide (with forward by local guru Adi Gill) that details all that is on offer and will aid finding your way to the hidden gems. Give it a go – chances are you’ll return.
