One of the most significant Wild Bouldering developments of recent years, Yeadon boasts a number of impressive unclimbed lines sitting alongside the easier problems. Grades at the crag currently range up to 7c+ and will no doubt go higher when more and even stronger climbers test their mettle against the mighty Prune Buttress.
What has been climbed to date is generally of a very high quality. This is not a crag to be missed. In particular, Make My Heart Fly is perhaps one of Yorkshire’s finest highball walls at its grade – an absolute pant-filler!
The landowners have asked that movement around this and Cow Close is kept to below the moor edge so that nesting birds are not disturbed. If going on to Cow Close please drop down to the wall below the crags during the nesting season.
