Wig Stones is a proper wild crag, set high on the moors above Grimwith Reservoir. It was covered in the YMC 2012 guide as a low grade trad crag but the bouldering up there is better than the short routes; it is high quality and worth walking up for. The grade range is good from easy to around 6c.
