Local hot shot, Lindsay McMorran, recently took her first trip up onto the Unknown Stones. Our roving reporter caught up with her to find out all about it. So Lindsay McMorran, thanks for making time to talk to Unknown Stones Magazine. How was your day today? It was fantastic, there are few things more pleasant … More A New Scrittler Cometh
A series of buttresses scattered along the southern slopes of Carncliff Top. Check out Sartree Crag as a place to take kids or the clinically afraid, and the rest for those who want to go deeper into the bilberries than ever before! Carncliff Top South
A big thanks to Olly Parkinson for great help in producing a lovely guide to the fearsome Flaystones. You’ll find it in the North Nidderdale section. Or click here for the Flaystones page.

Good quality sit starts to Rocky Horror and Dom’s … More Even more Yeadon

After listening to feedback from new visitors, … More Yeadon – updated topo
A couple of productive weekends at Yeadon Crag. Will Hunt added Power Royale (7A) to the Low Roof – start up Power By The Hour and finish up Battle Royale. Huw Goodall returned to finish off his arm sappingly perverse traverse on the Low Roof – Bounce By The Ounce (7A) takes a sitting start … More New routes falling fast at Yeadon
A very fine looking new problem has been done by a chap called Alex. Looking forward to having a go at it. Don’t forget send us details of your new problems so we can update the topos!
