Ash Head
Andrew Barker obviously had a good day at Ash Head recently and added a couple of worthwhile additions to the Alphabet and Big Block are at Coombs Crags. The topo has been updated.

Another Yeadon topo update to account for the 2 new problems put up a couple of weekends ago. Dom’s Problem (yet to be named) is now probably the hardest thing at the crag at 7B and the wall left of The Thread is filling up nicely. Good quality sit starts to Rocky Horror and Dom’s … More Even more Yeadon
After some activity at Gate House we have produced an updated topo. The crag is proving to be a fine venue for those seeking an unspoiled, sheltered and quick drying location with a good number of Font 2 to 7a problems. Seen here is Dave Turnbull on Dizzy Izzy F5
The old Yeadon topo was looking, frankly, prehistoric. Since it was last updated there have been about 10 new problems added to the crag (of course, it’s still nowhere near worked out) between the grades 6B and 7A and these are now all topo’d up for your delight. After listening to feedback from new visitors, … More Yeadon – updated topo
We’ve updated the topo – some additions and grade adjustments, etc. Will Buck’s new problem is called Slopher 7b+/c and a line of quality. Its ‘Slopher’ because “it resembles Cypher at the nearby Slipstones – but its climbed on slopers”. Nice one Will!
The Buck team had a grand day at High Crags Colsterdale yesterday. Will ticked the obvious high quality arete at a grade described as ” somewhere north of 7b+” and sorted out a couple of other additions. Meanwhile the ever-strong Will Hunt and Huw Goodall continued their quest to drag Yeadon Crag into the present … More Had a good weekend?
A couple of productive weekends at Yeadon Crag. Will Hunt added Power Royale (7A) to the Low Roof – start up Power By The Hour and finish up Battle Royale. Huw Goodall returned to finish off his arm sappingly perverse traverse on the Low Roof – Bounce By The Ounce (7A) takes a sitting start … More New routes falling fast at Yeadon
Done everything at Brimham? An addition to the roof from Theo Moore (Underthing Right) and a highball on the boulder from last year by Paul have been added to the topo.
Check out Twin Towers, Masham Area – couple of great highballs and a very nice warm-up circuit. Thanks to Ben Finley for the mini-guide
A great little boulder/wall not far from Brown Beck and easily combined with a visit there.
