The traverse project on Cuckoo Slab (actually a bulging wall) – Flying Into Bloods was done yesterday by Neil McCallum at a pumpy 7b. He suggests all 3 of the traverses on this block to be worth 3 stars.

Activity continues at West Chevin with a number of problems being added. It seems that people have discovered that good rock hides underneath the woodland canopy and the proximity to Leeds provides shady outings on warm days. Wig Stones There are a host of good newly recorded problems up at Wig Stones. The crag is high up on the moor above Grimwith Reservoir but the good walk makes for a decent warm up. Please click the link above for the page and the topo.
